AN ENCHANTED WOOD WHERE EVERYTHING CAN HAPPEN SUDDENLY!!

WOOD OF THE SASSETO

DESCRIPTION

The Monumental Forest of Sasseto di Torre Alfina (Acquapendente VT), a forest with a very high degree of naturalistic diversity, has been home for centuries to the ancient roots of centuries-old trees with the evocative shapes of trunks. But not only is this Sasseto, on the contrary it is an enchanted place where both adults and children discover the magic and the desire to meet elves, fairies, goblins, kings and evil witches and to listen to their stories!

Is there really such a fairytale place? Of course! The National Geographic has called it “The Snow White Wood”, located at the foot of the Castle of Torre Alfina in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy in Lazio, on the border with Tuscany and Umbria.

Large sometimes hollow trunks, twisted branches, boulders covered with moss and ferns, the songs of birds and timid flowers in the undergrowth make the atmosphere of this enchanted and wonderful place! But suddenly the sight of the Gothic mausoleum of the Marquis Edoardo Cahen is suddenly surprising … completely immersed in pristine greenery!

You look around and you can’t help but think that, at any moment, a goblin could appear, or a fairy fluttering near you, or an elf beckoning you to follow him, and then disappear immediately afterwards!!!
